Penong’s Seafood and Grill: More than a Barbecue Haven
Penong’s Seafood and Grill is well-known for their delicious and juicy pork and chicken barbecue. You can expect that their place is full-packed come dinner time. Their first restaurant here in Davao City was located near People’s Park (now Pards Barbecue) and when Davaoeños got a taste of their yummy barbecue, word of mouth spread up and they are now the number one barbecue house in Davao City. The place has become a favorite eating place for office workers, students, yuppies, families.
Penong’s Seafood and Grill is an open-house restaurant with electric fans serving as ventilation. The place is native-themed restaurant using coconut trees as it’s posts. They have a number of attentive waiters especially on peak hours. This is the first restaurant that offers “unlimited rice” which also becomes a fad with other restaurants here in Davao City. So for the rice eaters ,you can feast on their unlimited rice which only takes you a clap or two to signal them to give rice to you.
Aside from delicious barbecue, Penong’s restaurant offers Pinoy favorites fares like kinilaw, crispy pata, lengua estofada, and other flavorful delights that a true Filipino palate crave for. So have a taste of Penong’s delicious foods – barbecue and seafoods!










I’m not really big on rice, so I never got to exploit their unli rice promo. BUt this is an affordable deal for those who want to get the most out of their meal.
