Hi-tech Taxi in Davao: Equipped with GPS and Pay via ATM or Debit Card
Davao City will have the most modern taxi in the Philippines come July 6, 2012. Mabuhay black taxis are equipped with GPS or Global Positioning System and there are 20 of this units. Dispatching of the said taxis are done through computers. Fare payment of the black Mabuhay taxi can be through Bancnet and Megalink ATM and debit cards. Mabuhay taxi company is still in the process of working on payments via credit cards.
This is a very good development for the transportation service in Davao City. Mabuhay taxi and Blue taxi which are sister companies are having more than 200 units of taxi cabs.
An exclusive taxi stand for Mabuhay black taxi will be at SM Davao. It will also be the exclusive service provider for Marco Polo Hotel Davao and Grand Regal Hotel. Kudos to the people behind Mabuhay taxi. Congratulations Davao for its fast development and progress. Indeed, life is here in Davao.
But even before this ATM/debit card payment option was introduced, Mabuhay’s black taxi fleet is on a league of its own. Each unit is equipped with global positioning system, which makes it easier to monitor. Its computerized dispatching is also one of a kind in the country.
