Davao City Pasalubong Center

Through the initiative of the city government of Davao especially the lady Mayor Inday Sarah Duterte, a pasalubong center is established in Davao City.  This is also in line with the project of the city government to encourage Dabawenyos to go into entrepreneurship thru its program “Magnegosyo Ta Day’.

Another purpose for the establishment of the pasalubong center is to establish branding for Davao-made products and for tourists to have a one-stop shop for their pasalubong needs when visiting Davao City.

Davao City Pasalubong Center is strategically located at Palma Gil Street, near People’s Park Davao City.  All products being sold at the pasalubong center are proudly Davao produce or made.  You can see fruits, flowers, Davao crafts and souvenir items like T-shirts.  You can also find preserved goodies that are made from fruits that are abundant in Davao.

It is also planned that a 120-seater cinema will be made in the pasalubong center so that tourists can view a film all about Davao City and this is also in support of the film industry in Davao City and the Philippines as a whole.
